The skill is not released, as in it is not listed the talent exp tables. And no is not gonna be Merchant because Merchant is the "old" destiny system what we are using now, it is indeed marked at Merchant and Pharmacy, however, Egg Collecting and Mining is also marked with Alchemist and Cooking but only account in Cooking.Luin wrote: This JP info site here says it will contribute towards both merchant and herbalism/pharmacy talents.

Yes, is only first testing, I am pretty sure there will be some additional things for the transformations, but as to if it will be a destiny is doubtful and technically they never really said a new destiny but new skills for transformation and currently lumped with Traveler Talent. *Yes You can transform into certain NPC like Nao, but they do not have moving animation or attack animation, in the end you cannot do anything when u transform into them except stand there.
Other than these obvious changes, they also modified the % to record a monster when defeat and the amount of defeats you need to obtain the monster's transformation. Yes, most rank 1 monster have 25% record rate now. Basically the capture rate % is the chance you will get a record mark when you defeat a monster, which means even if the record mark needed is 5 you may need to defat that monster more than 5 times.
